Then the next year, when the team was even better, our head coach unfortunately gets cancer and our assistant coach tanks the record and we get crushed in the first round. This is a franchise who loses in the western conference finals because we didn't have an inbounds play. This is a franchise whose best player on the team blows out their knee right before the playoffs, we then lose to the Warriors who then go on start a dynasty. This is a franchise that has never moved up in the lottery despite having some terrible, terrible teams, but has moved down quite a bit. This is a franchise who has lost some of their best players to things like falling down the stairs while high on coke, or wanting to leave the franchise because their wife wants to to live in new York.
